like the heart of a chest beating skyward.
When you have a moment, come see a stained glass sculpture
that I made months ago, maybe two
or three years ago. I want the sculpture to see you: you could tell me
if it speaks to you. That was yesterday, it seems. I think not.
As well, I can see that it could be re-tolled, re-thought
another tomorrow, as spontaneously. The sculpture will not see there any
difference, and in fact no longer will I.'')
